Installation methods for mpojaya
We offer three ways to access mpojaya on mobile: Android APK download, iOS browser access, and web browser on any device. Each path takes subject to verification and requires an active account or the ability to register during setup.
Step-by-step installation on Android
- Download the mpojaya APK file from our website or receive it via email link.
- On your Android device, go to Settings → Apps → App permissions and enable "Install from unknown sources" for your browser or file manager.
- Tap the downloaded APK file to install mpojaya.
- Open the app, sign in with your username and email, and enable push notifications when prompted.
Access mpojaya on iOS via browser
iOS devices do not allow direct APK installation. Instead, open Safari or your preferred browser, navigate to the mpojaya web version, and sign in. We optimized the web interface for iPhone and iPad screens. You can add a home-screen shortcut by tapping Share and selecting "Add to Home Screen." This creates an app-like icon that launches the web version in fullscreen mode.
iOS and web access
- iOS: Use Safari or your default browser; add a home-screen shortcut for quick access
- Web: Visit mpojaya on any desktop or mobile browser; no app installation required
- Account sync: Your balance and transaction history sync instantly across all access methods
- Two-factor authentication: Codes appear via SMS or in-app; both methods work on iOS and web
mpojaya app vs web browser
The mpojaya app for Android offers several advantages over web-only access. The app caches market data locally, so Liga 1 odds and slot listings load instantly even if your internet connection drops briefly. Push notifications alert you to market closures, withdrawal confirmations, and important account events. The app integrates with your device's secure enclave to store two-factor codes, reducing login friction. App performance is faster because we render UI natively rather than in a web view. However, the web version works identically on any device, requires no installation, and updates automatically without user action. Choose the app if you prefer speed and offline reliability; choose the web if you value simplicity and no installation overhead.
Device compatibility and system requirements
The mpojaya app requires Android 7.0 or higher. Older Android phones (version 6 and below) cannot install the app but can still access mpojaya via web browser. On iOS, we support iOS 12 and later. If your device runs an older version, update your operating system or use the web version. The app works on mid-range phones and does not require high-end specs; we optimize for devices with 2GB RAM or more. If your device has limited storage (under 500MB free), download the web version instead.
Common installation issues and troubleshooting
If you cannot install the mpojaya APK on Android, check that you have enabled "Install from unknown sources" in your device settings. Some phones block APK installation by default for security. If your browser shows a certificate warning during download, this is normal; the warning appears because we use a self-signed certificate for certain regional CDNs. Proceed with the download. If the app crashes immediately after opening, clear your app cache (Settings → Apps → mpojaya → Storage → Clear Cache) and try again. If you cannot log in, verify that your internet connection is active and that your username and password are correct. If you forgot your password, use the "Forgot password" link on the login screen; we send a reset link to your registered email within minutes.
Data, permissions, and account security on mpojaya
When you install the mpojaya app, we request permission to send you notifications and to store your session data locally. We never request access to your contacts, photos, or other personal files. Your session token is encrypted and stored in your device's secure storage; we delete it when you log out or uninstall the app. We do not collect your location data, browsing history, or device identifiers. Your two-factor authentication codes are generated locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers except during login verification. We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all network traffic. If you lose your phone, log out of the app remotely from the account dashboard or contact our support team. We can invalidate all active sessions and require you to log in again with your credentials.
